Digital Networks Consulting Services Ltd was founded in January 2003. It is headed by Kamande Muiruri, an Internet and information technology pioneer in Kenya and sub-Saharan Africa.

At Digital Networks we devoted our early work to pin-pointing how business management and success could be facilitated and improved through the use of modern information technology, especially leveraging the Internet, and the reasons why businesses and their customers have not been able to harness the benefits that arise from the application of technology. We did this through market research and by undertaking selected strategic information technology consulting projects for a broadly defined market segment including the government, telecommunications sector, education sector and for business enterprises.

Through insights gained from the consulting engagements that we undertook in the first two-and-a-half years of operations and more specific research we conducted along the way as our view of the industry landscape and market became clearer, we eventually narrowed our focus to helping small and medium enterprises be more successful by designing and developing solutions and services that address the business opportunities and challenges for the sector.

Today, Digital Networks has evolved as a powerful 'just in time' services business model with a highly collaborative internal culture which brings together expert teams comprising of business, accounting and information technology consultants to deliver financial management services that make a difference for our clients.
